Suchitra Chinthapalli is a Consultant Dermatologist who works as an NHS Consultant at Royal London Hospital, one of the largest NHS trusts in the country. She consults on all areas of General Dermatology (including acne, eczema, psoriasis, mole checks, rosacea, rashes) with a specialist interest in Skin Cancer and Skin Surgery.

She graduated in 2009 from Imperial College London School of Medicine with Merits. She has completed her entire postgraduate training in central London teaching hospitals including Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery (NHNN, Queen Square), Royal Brompton Hospital, Royal Free Hospital and Royal London Hospital. She has undertaken training internationally in Europe and USA as well.

She has been awarded national prizes and scholarships for her work in Dermatology and has presented her research internationally and nationally. She was awarded First Class Honours for her BSc degree from Imperial College London. She has taught and examined for 4 of the 5 London Medical Schools; Imperial College London, King’s College London, University College London (UCL) and Barts and the London School of Medicine & Dentistry as well as Royal Society of Medicine.

She is a member of the British Association of Dermatology (BAD), British Society for Dermatological Surgery (BSDS) and Royal Society of Medicine
