Education & Training

Dr Suchitra Chinthapalli graduated as a doctor in 2009 from Imperial College London School of Medicine with Merits. She has completed her entire postgraduate training in central London teaching hospitals, including Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery (NHNN, Queen Square), Royal Brompton Hospital, Royal Free Hospital and Royal London Hospital. She has also undertaken training internationally in Europe and USA (UCLA Medical Center, Los Angeles, USA, Cedars-Sinai Hospital, Los Angeles and Duke University, Durham, USA) as well.

She currently works in the NHS as a Consultant Dermatologist at Royal London Hospital. Her specialists interests are Skin Cancer, Mole Checks, Surgery, Acne and Eczema.

She has been awarded national prizes and scholarships for her work in Dermatology and General Medicine, and has presented her research internationally and nationally. She was awarded First Class Honours for her BSc degree from Imperial College London in 2007. She has taught and examined for 4 of the 5 London Medical Schools; Imperial College London, King’s College London, University College London (UCL) and Barts and the London School of Medicine & Dentistry as well as Royal Society of Medicine.
